Student Field Trips at Louisville MEGA Cavern are available throughout the year except during November and December during Lights Under Louisville. Field Trips may be customized at your request.Light sticks are provided at no additional charge upon request and are only recommended for young children. If your group is tax exempt, please be able to provide your tax exemption number.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR GROUP ARRIVE AT LEAST 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED HISTORIC TRAM TOUR TIME FOR UNLOADING/LOADING PURPOSES. IF YOUR GROUP DOES NOT ARRIVE AT LEAST 20 MINUTES EARLY, WE CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOUR RESERVATION.
We also have an excellent picnic area under our pavilion for any group function or birthday party. During cold weather, our picnic tables are moved inside the Louisville Mega Cavern so that you can enjoy your lunch in the natural cavern environment. Afterall, it is a comfortable 58 degrees.
You can even have your lunch catered to you from Quiznos or just simply stop by Wendy's on your way out! See Event Planner for menu and ordering information! Restrooms are also available in our visitor center.
